el jimador tequila
These Sugar Skulls was created for el Jimador’s el dia de los muertos promotion that occurs each Autumn. The skull captures the spirit of the holiday and the strong connection between this event and the tequila. Over the years, I have reimagined the Skull multiple times to give a refresh - the artwork would then be used throughout multiple channels and mediums including the awards winning mass display. Each of these pieces were used at both on premise and off premise locations to increase engagement and hype.
The mass display was conceptualized as a free standing piece that could stand alone or be decorated and posted using a hashtag. Hundreds of restaurants and liquor stores participated to show off their artistic chops.
My role was to create the actual design as well as to work with my sourcing team and suppliers to create a one of kind piece that could be produced and given to various liquor stores, bars and restaurants.
